Fishing on Vrana Lake

Nature Park Vrana Lake"is one of the 11 nature parks and the largest natural lake in Croatia, and is also the area of ​​specific characteristics and biodiversity, and thus provides plenty of opportunities for various activities while staying at the lake, such as fishing, biking, hiking, bird watching..

Quality rest and relaxation will certainly find near-by lake fishermen, who with the permission can hunt more species - like pike, carp, mullet, rudd, and many others, except eels and river midwives. Fishing at the lake and its shores are allowed almoust throughout the whole year except for the certain types of the following periods:

Season closed for:

PIKE 01.02 - 31.03

CARP 01.04-31.05

CATFISH 16.04 - 15.06

Prices permits for sports fishing on the lake:

DAILY PERMIT - 70,00 HRK

A THREE DAY PERMIT - 150,00 HRK

WEEKLY PERMIT- 250,00 HRK

All types of fishing licenses can be obtained directly at the lake, and it is allowed to use two rods and night fishing is allowed in the period  15.05 - 15.09  in designated areas.

Fishing is possible from shore or boat, and we can hire  professional guide for You if needed.

For a unique fishing experience we offer accommodation on  Vrana lake. Ranch "Kukin" is a beautiful household situated on lake coast and only 1,5 km far away from the seacoast and center of Pakoštane. This property has 4 houses, and can accommodated larger groups, which is ideal for organized fishing trips, where you can enjoy both freshwater and saltwater fishing activities.
